Mesa Arch Sunrise
Canyonlands National Park, Utah
Mesa Arch spans 90 feet across and stands at the edge of a sheer 1,400-foot precipice above the Colorado River gorge. For a few moments at sunrise the underside of the arch glows dramatically red and orange, making this one of the most photographed icons in the Canyonlands area.
