This shot was taken towards the top of North Ogden Pass, on the Ogden Valley side. I stopped to get a panorama of the valley (which didn’t turn out very well), and luckily I turned around toward the mountain and saw one of the brightest red maple trees of the season.

Double feature today. I took a short trip up a canyon yesterday evening to scout out new locations for the upcoming autumn colors. I stopped and grabbed a few shots along the way.

These maples standing among the aspens were among the first to change colors.
