There’s a tunnel directly through a cliff that you have to go through for about 200 feet to get to this location in Oceanside, Oregon. When we arrived, the tide was slowly coming in. The resulting crashing waves weren’t huge, but still picture-worthy, especially as they coincided with the setting sun.

This shot was taken along the Oregon coast, on Highway 101 at a viewpoint along the way. After some major Google Maps work, I finally found exactly where I took the shot. The viewpoint was inside of Humbug Mountain State Park, just south of Port Orford and a good deal north of Gold Beach. The exact location can be found onĀ Google Maps here.
