Reflections of Red

Reflections of Red Canon 40D | 17-40mm f/4L | 0.6 sec | f/14 | ISO 100

Yesterday as I was heading out to catch the sunset, it looked like it would be great. But by the time I got to where I had planned, a blanket of clouds had pretty much covered the sky. My only hope was that the sun might get through the cloud cover, as it often does, right before it sets. So I waited it out, and I guess luck was kind of on my side. The sun did show through for a few minutes, but it wasn’t quite what I was seeking. However, the reds that shined through on a small portion of the clouds were quite intense. I didn’t enhance the colors at all in this image. So, in the end it’s not what I was hoping for when I set out, but it could have been worse…
